Yearning Is Upstream Focus

Yearning Is Upstream Focus

Standard

“What we feel from most physical beings who are using the word “want” is a yearning, a desire that is currently unfulfilled. When we use the word “want” we mean it as an object of attention to which I want to focus, a desire that I give my undivided, undiluted, not contradicted attention to, so that the Energy that creates worlds can flow through me toward that desire.” ~ Abraham

Our yearning is an indicator that we are focused on the absence of something. It means strong desire, yes, but an attention to lack. If our desires are downstream, yearning is an indication of flowing energy upstream. So how do you focus on something dearly wanted that is currently not yet manifested without activating the vibration of lack? By knowing it is done.

This can be tricky if you have started this path from a place of studying various philosophical teachings. In some teachings, we are taught that ‘not knowing’ or to say ‘I don’t know’ is the ultimate in wisdom. So to know your desire is done, how can you really be sure? In my experience, the more you activate vibrations of appreciation, love, joy, exhilaration, zest, contentment, peace – good feeling vibrations – the more physical evidence shows up of things once asked for. The things that, as Abe say, you placed in your vortex and are waiting for you to become a vibrational match to.

You may not know the who, what, when, how and all the specific details surrounding your desire but just know the laws of the universe are precise. Just know that you are worthy. Know that you will find a way to align, to allow. Know you are a divine, beautiful soul! Move to a place of general knowing. It’s not arrogance or ignorance. Just this soft, gentle place of certainty that grows and grows with practice.

Peace and love,
